Tamil superstar Rajnikanth could earn upto Rs 40 crores for his new film with AVM Studios, making him the highest paid actor in India. Kollywood is in fact whispering that with the new film, he could be next only to Jackie chan among Asian actors as far as his earnings go. While AVM Saravanan,producer of the movie, is not confirming it, industry souces say Bollywood heartthrob Aishwarya Rai has been approached to play Rajinkanths leading lady. As per the agreement, the actor is to be paid Rs 15 crores and get a major share in the revenue generated by the movie at the box office. In all the actor could get around Rs 40 crore for the film titled Sivaji, named after the late Tamil mega star SivajiGanesan. This will be the 158th movie for the famous AVM Studious,which is celebrating its diamond jubilee year. Sivaji Ganesans family members have given their nod for title. Interestingly Sivaji Ganesans first movie Para Sakthi was also made by AVM. Rajinikanth has not lost any of his appeal, with his box office following being as strong as ever in Tamil Nadu where mega stars are worshipped in temples and have a huge fan following. Rajinikanth confirmed his eternal appeal with Chandramukhi, which was a smash hit at the box office. Now news of his next venture is making waves for monetary reasons even before it can go into production. Industry sources say director Midas Shankar, who has already discussed the story line with Rajinikanth, was preparing the script for Sivaji. Rajinikanth is reported to have approved the story and Shankar has apparently left the city to ready the script in seclusion. Aishwaraya Rai who has been approached for Sivaji is apparently is trying to find dates for the film as she has prior commitments to Holly wood. She was earlier approached to play the feamle lead in Rajinikanth starrers Baba and Chandrakukhi but was busy at that time.

Dogs are the most faithful animals on this planet and is a perfect pet for the Great Human being that we are - intellectually endowed. There is a considerable amount of debate on whether it is right to kill stray dogs and whether sterilisation is the right solution. Recently there was a hue and cry when a so-called mad dog had bitten six children in a suburb in Mumbai. Here there was a case for putting the dog to sleep because he had caused enough harm. But not in all cases should stray dogs be punished. Like we have a right to live , so do the Dogs. A few stray cases of Dog bites should not make people come to the conclusion that killing them is the only solution. When God made this world, he surely wanted to maintain a perfect balance amongst animals, human beings , plants and environment. The super human intelligent brain is disturbing this ecological balance and thats is perhaps why we have so many tragedies hiiting us in the form of Tsunamis, earthquakes, floods, etc. Nature has its own way of dealing with this change.
In our societies in which we live, we have all kinds of people and ofcourse criminals - rapists, thieves, eve teasers, bullies,corrupt politicians underworld goons, murderers and the list is long. Do all these people who have strayed in Life and who have a capacity to think, get killed ? Ask this Question before suggesting that we kill a stray Dog.
Solution lies in l sterilising the Dogs so that the stray population is controlled and they are not a nuisance to mankind by barking at odd hours ! Dont forget the Dog is a wonderful watchman ! Free of cost. Give him two biscuits a day and he will ever ever be indebted to you.
My take- befriend the neighbourhood Dog ! or better still - take home a Dog - adopt one. You cant ask for a better companion.
We have done it. And believe me we all enjoy his company , his pranks. I just love him.
